At the Southern gateway to the Lake District, the historic town of Kendal is home to a number of independent and well established retail outlets; few though have been trading for longer than Middleton’s Ironmongers. Established in 1773 - but with few of the original staff remaining (!) –we still retain traditional customer service values as we continue to supply an eclectic range of house hardware and garden equipment.

Together with our ‘sister’ shop, Musgrave’s of Windermere, we use our association with Home Hardware to keep customers updated with the latest stock and incredible value bargain offers.
